Workshop with Julia Weber, Oscar Seip and Maria Gil Ulldemolins
Images hold the potential to create virtual environments that establish a relation between physical space and projected spatialities. In communal environments, we assume a shared perception of visual spaces which goes beyond individual imagination and could therefore be described as a perception of virtual spaces. These virtual spaces have a normative potentiality, as they are generated through symbolic orders as collectively agreed value systems. How can we use virtual models and models of virtuality for the process of learning and research? How can we fathom “image spaces” as individual or collaborative learning environments? What is the didactic potential of visually perceptible imaginary spaces in virtual reality? The workshop will take place on november 15th in the Virtual Classroom, GB 8|137.
